Is Latest Trend Towards Demonology & Sexually Explicit Scenes In YA Fiction Concerning?

Current trends in YA fiction which include more specific sexual content, demonology and in dwellings of fallen angels concern me. When young adult fiction was first identified, it seemed to be separated from other genre.
